The Carnaval De Rio Tulip
A tulip with very similar markings to the famous Rembrandt tulip which is known for its vibrant red flames caused by a virus, although similar in looks, is not caused by the same ailment. The Carnaval De Rio is a variety in the triumph tulip family, bred to show off it's beautiful coloring while also being a sturdy flower that can withstand cold weather without becoming flimsy.
This is a Beginner to Intermediate Course
You will find this course to be a great introduction for the beginner to the use of alcohol inks and the use of doublette crepe paper to create realistic tulip petals. For a bit more of a challenge you will find the creation of the Stamen and Anthers along with detailed coloring with watercolors to be more on the intermediate side.
