Double Hibiscus
Your Instructor
Hi, I'm Johanna the creator behind Black_Tree_Designs based in Cape Town South Africa. I am a wife, mother of 2 teenagers and a paper botanical artist.
Growing up in KwaZulu Natal, I was fortunate to have enjoyed a lush and spacious garden full of Hydrangea, Agapanthus, Tibouchina trees, ferns and fruit trees. It wasn't until I discovered paper flowers, that my curiosity and love for the flower world truly blossomed.
This journey has led me to discover more about plants, flowers and the natural world and has sparked a passion that I never dreamed possible. It has opened up a creative outlet in which I can interpret what I see into a tangible piece of art made from nothing but paper, glue, wire and my imagination.
